Malmö Transformed by Karlatornet
Gothenburg has introduced Karlatornet, now the tallest building in Scandinavia at 246 meters. This skyscraper is part of the €75–100 billion Karlastaden project, aiming to double the city center’s size by 2050 with 25,000 new apartments and 50,000 workspaces. While the development signifies modern growth, it has sparked debates about preserving the city’s historic charm.
